Join our teamGraphcore’s IPU systems for artificial intelligence are now available from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which recently joined Graphcore’s Global Partner Program.
As one of the world’s largest enterprise computing providers, HPE’s addition to the program further extends our reach into new markets, industries, and applications, as well as reflecting the overall growth in demand for our made-for-AI systems.
With more than 55,000 customers in over 50 countries, HPE is known as a leader in digital transformation, from strategy to technological implementation. Today, it is helping customers take advantage of the many opportunities offered by rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
“Graphcore’s Intelligent Processing Units (IPU) provide enterprise-grade performance for leading-edge AI models, such as graph neural networks, to speed time-to-insight and improve products and services,” said Dr. Arti Garg, Chief Strategist, AI Solutions, HPC and AI, at HPE.
“We look forward to collaborating closely with Graphcore to expand HPE’s robust, heterogenous AI ecosystem of solutions to deliver differentiated scale-out offerings that meet unique data center needs.”
As part of Graphcore’s partnership with HPE and continued commitment to customer choice, we have validated HPE’s ProLiant DL365 Gen10 Plus server and added it to our approved server list.
This dual-socket 1U server is the first HPE device to join the growing roster of hardware approved for use with IPU-POD configurations, in either direct attach or switched configurations.
One of the first Graphcore systems provided by HPE will be installed at EPCC where it will sit within the Edinburgh International Data Facility.
The EIDF is a set of computing services that underpin the UK and Scottish Government-funded Data Driven Innovation (DDI) Programme in Edinburgh and SE Scotland.
In 2020, EPCC awarded a £100m contract to HPE, initially for 5 years, to provide the IT infrastructure components for the EIDF.
